The latest presidential candidates to wed naked are a mix of famous celebrities, former presidents and politicians, the Hill reports.
“If you were a celebrity who wanted to be married in your hometown, you might have an issue with it, but if you’re in the White House, it’s a very different story,” said a source who requested anonymity.
The Hill also reported on the presidential candidate’s public statements about the event.
Trump, who has been vocal about his opposition to same-sex marriage, said in February he didn’t support same-gender marriages, which were legalized in the United States earlier this year.
“I don’t like it, it doesn’t fit me,” Trump said at the time.
“I don and I know many of the other people who don’t.
I don’t have a problem with that.”
Trump has been a vocal critic of the LGBT community, saying in the past he didn and that his daughter Ivanka is gay.
He said in an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press in February that if Ivanka’s gay, it shouldn’t matter if she’s married.
While Trump has repeatedly said he’s not a big fan of gay marriage, he did say he is open to it.
“There’s nothing wrong with that,” Trump told the Christian Broadcasting Network in January.
In June, Trump said he doesn’t believe gay marriage should be legal in the U.S. If he was elected president, he said, he would appoint judges to the Supreme Court that would overturn rulings legalizing gay marriage.
The Hill also said the candidates who are expected to attend the wedding include: Candidates Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, Joe Biden, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, Rick Perry, Scott Walker, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul, Scott Trumka, and Rand Paul’s wife, Kelley.
