White wedding dress designer Tomi Lahren has unveiled her latest look for a traditional white wedding, with the result that it looks like something you’d see in a wedding album.
Lahren wore the dress in a series of black-tie-inspired photos on Monday, which are available on Instagram.
The photo was taken at a Manhattan restaurant, with Lahren wearing a grey dress with matching heels and a red tie, a look that was inspired by a family album from the 1980s.
Langhren, who is married to pop star Calvin Harris, told Vanity Fair in 2015 that the look was inspired not by the album but by the time of the ceremony.
“I’ve been thinking about how I feel when I see that picture, and I just wanted to look at it in a more intimate way,” she said.
“So the way it’s designed is that I think it’s like the bride and groom sitting around a table and eating their own meals and playing music.”
Lahlen, a singer and TV personality, first began wearing white wedding gowns in the 1990s, but the trend fell out of favor with the style’s popularity in the 2000s.
Lately, she’s been experimenting with different designs, but her new look is the first that has a lot of sparkle.
“We wanted to make it as minimal as possible, but it was a pretty bold look,” she told the magazine.
“It’s not like a dress with gold or diamonds on it, it’s a dress without any gold or diamond.”
